Duoflip is a free daily word game. It has no accounts, no ads, no trackers, and it does not collect, store, or sell any personal data. We couldn't sell your data if we wanted to — we never have it.
Nothing. You never create an account, log in, or tell us who you are. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information, and we never will without updating this policy first.
Your progress — which puzzles you've played today, how many tries you used, whether you used a hint — is stored only on your own device (in your browser's local storage on the web, or in the app's on-device storage on iOS). It is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app or clearing your browser data erases it completely.
The game makes one kind of request: it asks our own puzzle server (duoflip.app/api) for the day's four puzzles. That request carries no personal information — just the date. Like virtually every web service, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request logs (such as IP addresses) transiently to serve and secure the site.
The website also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers. The iOS app bundles its fonts and makes no such request.
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics — a cookie-less counter of aggregate page views. It sets no cookies, stores no identifiers on your device, and cannot follow you across the web. The iOS app contains no analytics at all.
The iOS app can send one optional daily reminder. It is scheduled entirely on your device — no push servers are involved — and you can turn it off any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Duoflip.
Duoflip is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.
If Duoflip ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we'll update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
